Action Races

Materials Needed:

Action Cards: Sit Ups, Push Ups, Hops, Star Jumps, Jumps

NOTE: Write words on 2 sets of cards

6 + Children

1. Set Start and Turn around Points about 10 to 20m apart
2. Get Children to make two lines
3. Two children dash at a time
4. First child picks up Action in there line and races. 
5. Child completes 10 x action at Turn around point
6. Child races back and tags next child
7. Child runs and completes same action
8. First child picks up second Action and proceeds as before
9. Choose as many actions as you like.
10. The first team to have completed all the actions are the winners.
11. Get winning team to sit down quickly and cross legs
12. Game is finished when second team is sitting down with crossed legs.
