Moving Children from Cots to Beds.

This is a photo of my son Benjamin, taken a few months ago, do you think he was telling me something?

Find out when it is time to move your child from his/her cot to a bed.

4 Good Reasons to move your child from a cot to a bed

1.       Your child is too big for the cot
2.       You child is beginning to climb out of the cot and you have lowered the mattress
3.       Your child is toilet trained and needs access to toilet at night
4.       A new baby is coming

My children both moved into a cot for different reasons and at different time. My first son Daniel moved into a bed three months into my second pregnancy. He was 2 at the time and was already climbing out of his cot and getting his legs caught in between the slats. My second son Benjamin moved into his own bed when we moved to a new house and we finally had an additional room. He was 20 months at the time.
Both of my boys transitioned into their big boy beds well, although now I have a different problem; 2am visits into my room each morning. Oh well, I guess like most mums I have to wait a while longer until I get my OWN bed!
